Preglued in the convertor’s facility, the Himes Lock, Automatic Bottom (Crash Lock, Economy or Popcorn Bottom) style is assembled by hand. It is generally employed when quick setup is required for smaller production volumes that do not warrant investing in automatic packaging equipment.
